In-home cat care in Lathrop: quiet space and slow introductions

In-home cat care in Lathrop means a quiet room of their own, introductions that happen only when the cat is ready, and daily photo updates so you know how they are doing. The routine is built around the cat, not the other way around.
I'm Tyler, and I care for dogs and cats full time out of my home in Lathrop. I have 15 years of experience with cats. Here is exactly how a cat stay works.
Cats get their own quiet space
Cats stay in a separate quiet room away from the dogs. That space stays theirs for the whole stay. The dogs (including my three pugs) do not have free access to it.
Hyder G. left his cat Sasha with me:
"Tyler did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Sasha! He was caring, responsible, and attentive, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Sasha was in good hands. Tyler kept me updated and made sure Sasha was happy and well taken care of."
You can read more about the home setup under how a stay works and the dedicated cat care section.
Slow introductions on the cat’s terms
Introductions happen slowly and only when the cat shows they are ready. There is no forcing a meeting. The quiet room stays available the whole time.
That approach matches what I do with dogs as well: slow, watched introductions, and separate when needed. For cats the priority is even clearer: the room is theirs first.
Photo updates come standard
I send regular photo updates every day of the stay, the same for cats as for dogs. Hyder G. noted the updates in his review, and the same practice applies here.
If you want a certain time of day, say so at the meet and greet. The goal is that you never have to wonder how the stay is going.
Medication and special needs are welcome
I can administer medication. Senior cats and cats with special needs are always welcome. Bring the medication in its original container and write down the dose and timing.
Start with a meet and greet
Every stay starts with a meet and greet at my home in Lathrop. Preferred windows are 8:00-10:00 AM or 8:00-10:00 PM. You come with your cat, see the quiet room, and we talk through the routine.
I keep the calendar limited on purpose so every guest, dog or cat, gets real one-on-one attention. You can read what other owners have said in the reviews.
Ready to set up a meet and greet?
Send a request with your dates and a photo of your cat. I will reply with a meet and greet time, usually the same day. I serve Lathrop, Manteca, Tracy, Stockton, and Modesto.
